Q:
1.In a blog post, post at least the first paragraph or two of your Project 1 paper. This can be the introduction, but doesn’t have to be.

Thinking:
3 different types of the jig fishing genre all have these things in common, but are aimed at different presentation so in turn different audiences of fish and people finesse/weedline jigs, flipping jigs, ledge jigs, swim jigs,

 A:
one hundred percent of bass fishing tournament anglers use a lure called a jig on a regular basis. For those of you that don’t know what a jig is, a jig is a lure that can imitate virtually any type of forage a bass could eat. The way it is so versatile is by the trailer that you put on the back of it and the many different color skirts. Now that you know a little about what a jig is im going to tell you why it’s a genre. The genre of “the jig” belongs to the discourse community of tournament angler. This particular genre is very concentrated on this discourse and it very common among its members. Not every “fisherman” or “weekend angler” knows of and/or use this particular genre. Being a member of this discourse community, using this genre every day, and owning a company that makes this lure helped me become very knowledgeable in its nature. It is a very specific part or category of the fishing world; it holds one of the largest markets, is the lure the majority of tournaments are won on, and can be used in hundreds of different ways.
